In Vivo After 001 weeks of administration of the water-soluble analogue of ICG-9, the formation of colon and small intestinal polyps was reduced by 42%, which was as effective as the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug MK-231, which has consistently shown efficacy in this model. ICG-001 (150 mg/kg, intravenously) showed a significant reduction in tumor volume with no death or weight loss over 620 days of treatment in the SW19 nude mouse tumor regression xenograft model
