Description: Pravastatin sodium (Apotex; CS-514; Pravachol; Pravaselect; Apo-Pravastatin; Mevalotin; Elisor; Lipostat), an approved hypolipidemic drug of the statin class, is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor against sterol synthesis with potential anti-hyperlipidemic effects.
