ProtocolIn VivoEmapunil (AC-5216, 1-100 mg/kg, p.o.) produces no distinct change in the rat electroencephalogram. Emapunil (AC-5216, 3-30 mg/kg, p.o.) reduces the immobility time, and this effect was blocked by PK11195. Emapunil (AC-5216, 0.1-3, 0.003-0.01 and 0.01-0.3 mg/kg, p.o.) produces anti-anxiety effects in the Vogel-type conflict test in rats, and in the light/dark box and social interaction tests in mice.
These protocols are for reference only. InvivoChem does not independently validate these methods.

Method for preparing DMSO master liquid: mg drug pre-dissolved in µL DMSO(Master liquid concentration mg/mL) ,Please contact us first if the concentration exceeds the DMSO solubility of the batch of drug.
Method for preparing in vivo formulation: Take µL DMSO master liquid, next add µL PEG300, mix and clarify, next add µL Tween 80,mix and clarify, next add µL ddH2O,mix and clarify.
Note:
  • (1) Please be sure that the solution is clear before the addition of next solvent. Dissolution methods like vortex, ultrasound or warming and heat may be used to aid dissolving.
  • (2) Be sure to add the solvent(s) in order.
