Description: CORM-3 is a water-soluble carbon monoxide (CO)-releasing molecule with potent anti-inflammatory and cardioprotective activity by attenuatingNF-κB p65 nuclear translocation, reducing ROS generation and enhancing intracellular glutathione and superoxide dismutase levels.

ProtocolIn VitroCORM-3 suppresses caspase-1 activation and the secretion of interleukin (IL)-1β and IL-18 in macrophages in response to lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and ATP. CORM-3 inhibits the oligomerization of the adaptor protein apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase recruitment domain (ASC), which is required for NLRP3-dependent caspase-1 activation.
In VivoCORM-3 (4 mg/kg, ip) reduces NLRP3 inflammasome activation and inhibits hyperglycemia-induced inflammation in mice.
These protocols are for reference only. InvivoChem does not independently validate these methods.

Method for preparing DMSO master liquid: mg drug pre-dissolved in µL DMSO(Master liquid concentration mg/mL) ,Please contact us first if the concentration exceeds the DMSO solubility of the batch of drug.
Method for preparing in vivo formulation: Take µL DMSO master liquid, next add µL PEG300, mix and clarify, next add µL Tween 80,mix and clarify, next add µL ddH2O,mix and clarify.
Note:
  • (1) Please be sure that the solution is clear before the addition of next solvent. Dissolution methods like vortex, ultrasound or warming and heat may be used to aid dissolving.
  • (2) Be sure to add the solvent(s) in order.
