Description: Artemisinin (also known as qinghaosu in Chinese; NSC-369397), discovered by Tu Youyou (2015 Nobel Prize winner in Medicine) team, is a naturally occurring anti-malarial drug isolated from the aerial parts of Artemisia annua L. plants.
