Description: ABT-510 TFA, the trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) salt form of ABT-510 which is a TSP-1 mimetic drug, is a synthetic peptide composed of nine-amino acids, it acts by mimicking the anti-angiogenic activity of the endogenous protein thrombospondin-1 (TSP-1).

ProtocolIn VitroABT-510 (1, 5, 10, 20, 50 nM; 24 h) induces apoptosis in ID8 cells and (50 nM; 24 h) increases the incidence of apoptosis in the human epithelial cancer cell lines SKOV3, OVCAR3, and CAOV3.
In VivoABT-510 (100 mg/kg; I.p.; single daily for 90 days) induces cells apoptosis in vivo. ABT-510 (100 mg/kg; i.p.; single daily for 90 days) leads to a significant reduction in tumor size, ascites fluid volume, and secondary lesion dissemination in mice.
These protocols are for reference only. InvivoChem does not independently validate these methods.

Method for preparing DMSO master liquid: mg drug pre-dissolved in µL DMSO(Master liquid concentration mg/mL) ,Please contact us first if the concentration exceeds the DMSO solubility of the batch of drug.
Method for preparing in vivo formulation: Take µL DMSO master liquid, next add µL PEG300, mix and clarify, next add µL Tween 80,mix and clarify, next add µL ddH2O,mix and clarify.
Note:
  • (1) Please be sure that the solution is clear before the addition of next solvent. Dissolution methods like vortex, ultrasound or warming and heat may be used to aid dissolving.
  • (2) Be sure to add the solvent(s) in order.
