Description: Tipiracil (TPI), one of the key components in TAS-102 (trade name Lonsurf, a mixture of Trifluridine and tipiracil hydrochloride in a 1:0.5 molar ratio), is a potent thymidine phosphorylase (TPase) inhibitor with anticancer activity.
