In VivoGW1929 (0.5, 1, 5 mg/kg, orally) significantly reduced non-fasting plasma glucose levels in Zucker diabetic obese (ZDF) rats after 14 days of treatment and had anti-lipolytic effects. GW1929 (1,5 mg/kg, po) increases glucose-stimulated β-cell insulin secretion in ZDF rats
