ProtocolIn VitroFluralaner effectively inhibits the reproductive capacity of fleas in vitro. Spawning stops completely at concentrations as low as 25.0 ng/mL. Although no ovicidal effect was observed, Fluralaner exerted larvalicidal effects at very low concentrations (6.25 ng/mL)
In VivoAt each time point measured over a 12-week period in a simulated flea infested environment, flea control for flea control in Fluraner-treated dogs was > 99%. No adverse events were observed in flurana-treated dogs. Even at subinsecticidal concentrations, Fluralaner has complete control over egg laying, larval development, and flea reproduction. In simulated flea infested environments, oral treatment of dogs with flulanel is highly effective for flea elimination
These protocols are for reference only. InvivoChem does not independently validate these methods.

Method for preparing in vivo formulation: Take µL DMSO master liquid, next add µL PEG300, mix and clarify, next add µL Tween 80,mix and clarify, next add µL ddH2O,mix and clarify.
Note:
  • (1) Please be sure that the solution is clear before the addition of next solvent. Dissolution methods like vortex, ultrasound or warming and heat may be used to aid dissolving.
  • (2) Be sure to add the solvent(s) in order.
