Description: Semapimod 4HCl, the tetrahydrochloride salt of Semapimod mesylate (AXD 455; AIDS-121302; CNI-1493), is a novel and potent cytokine inhibitor that inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6.
