Description: WST-8 is a novel, potent and water-soluble tetrazolium dye/salt used for assessing cell metabolic activity. At neutral pH and in the presence of the intermediate electron acceptor. It enhances sensitivity of the WST-8-based assay over the conventional MTS-based assay.
