Description: Tenapanor (formerly RDX-5791; RDX 5791; AZD-1722; AZD1722; trade name Ibsrela) is a first-in-class inhibitor of sodium-hydrogen exchanger (NHE3) approved by FDA in 2019 for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C).
