ProtocolIn VitroMollugin (0-80 μM, 12 h) enhances TNF-α-induced apoptosis. Mollugin (0-80 μM, 12 h) inhibits TNF-α-induced phosphorylation and nuclear translocation of p65, phosphorylation and degradation of IκBα, and IKK phosphorylation, and inhibits the TNF-α-induced mRNA expression of Cyclin D1, c-Myc, and VEGF. Mollugin (0-80 μM, 12 h) inhibits the proliferation of HeLa cells. Mollugin (0-80 μM, 24 h) inhibits the expression of an NF-κB reporter gene induced by TNF-α in a dose-dependent manner.
In VivoMollugin (0-75 mg/kg, Orally, three times per week for 36 days) inhibits growth of HeLa cells in a xenograft tumor model.
These protocols are for reference only. InvivoChem does not independently validate these methods.

Method for preparing DMSO master liquid: mg drug pre-dissolved in µL DMSO(Master liquid concentration mg/mL) ,Please contact us first if the concentration exceeds the DMSO solubility of the batch of drug.
Method for preparing in vivo formulation: Take µL DMSO master liquid, next add µL PEG300, mix and clarify, next add µL Tween 80,mix and clarify, next add µL ddH2O,mix and clarify.
Note:
  • (1) Please be sure that the solution is clear before the addition of next solvent. Dissolution methods like vortex, ultrasound or warming and heat may be used to aid dissolving.
  • (2) Be sure to add the solvent(s) in order.
