Description: Romidepsin (formerly FK-228, FR-901228, Depsipeptide, NSC-630176; trade name Istodax) is a novel, potent and naturally occuring bicyclic depsipeptide antibiotic isolated from the bacterium Chromobacterium violaceum with potential anticancer activity.
