Description: MEISi-1 is a small molecule homology domain inhibitor of the MEIS1 protein. MEISi-1 significantly inhibits the activity of a luciferase reporter gene containing a MEIS binding site (TGACAG) and induces self-renewal of a key class of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) in mice and humans in vitro and in vivo. MEISi-1 can be used for research in the fields of blood diseases, heart regeneration and cancer.
