Promise
Molecular Weight (MW)578.59
Molecular FormulaC30H32F6N4O
CAS No.290297-26-6
ProtocolIn VitroNetupitant (CID-6451149) binds with high affinity the human NK1 receptor (pKi=9.0) with more than 1000 fold selectivity over the NK2 and NK3 (pKi=5.8 for both sites)
In VivoNetupitant (CID-6451149; 1-10 mg/kg; ip) dose-dependently inhibits SP-elicited the typical scratching, biting and licking response in mice. In gerbils, foot tapping behavior evoked by the intracerebroventricular injection of a NK1 agonist is dose-dependently counteracted by Netupitant given intraperitoneally (ID50 1.5mg/kg) or orally (ID50 0.5mg/kg)
These protocols are for reference only. InvivoChem does not independently validate these methods.

Method for preparing DMSO master liquid: mg drug pre-dissolved in µL DMSO(Master liquid concentration mg/mL) ,Please contact us first if the concentration exceeds the DMSO solubility of the batch of drug.
Method for preparing in vivo formulation: Take µL DMSO master liquid, next add µL PEG300, mix and clarify, next add µL Tween 80,mix and clarify, next add µL ddH2O,mix and clarify.
Note:
  • (1) Please be sure that the solution is clear before the addition of next solvent. Dissolution methods like vortex, ultrasound or warming and heat may be used to aid dissolving.
  • (2) Be sure to add the solvent(s) in order.
