Description: N-Nitrosodiethylamine-d4 is the deuterated product of N-Nitrosodiethylamine. N-Nitrosodiethylamine (Diethylnitrosamine) is a powerful carcinogen. Water, cheddar cheese, pickled foods, fried foods, tobacco smoke, and numerous alcoholic beverages are the main sources of N-Nitrosodiethylamine. The modifications in ribozymes connected to DNA replication and repair are brought about by N-Nitrosodiethylamine. In all animals, N-Nitrosodiethylamine produces a wide range of tumors. The trachea, lungs, esophagus, liver, and nasal cavity are the primary target organs.
