Description: Meprednisone (formerly NSC-527579; SCH-4358; NSC63278; SCH4358; Betapar; Medrysone) is a glucocorticoid and a methylated derivative of prednisone acting as a glucocorticoid receptor agonist and has been approved for use to treat allergic and inflammatory of the eye.
