Description: Gatifloxacin (formerly also known as AM-1155, CG5501, BMS-206584; PD135432; Tequin; Zymar; Gatiflo; Zymaxid; AM 1155) is a fourth-generation antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone family used to treat tuberculosis and pneumonia, it inhibits the bacterial enzymes DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV.
