Description: EM127 (compound 11c) is a selective, high-affinity and site-specific covalent/irreversible inhibitor of SMYD3 (KD=13 μM). EM127 can effectively inhibit ERK1/2 phosphorylation and reduce the transcriptional regulation of SMYD3 target genes. EM127 effectively and permanently weakens methyltransferase activity. EM127 may be utilized in the research/study of cancer, especially SMYD3-positive tumors.
