Description: Cyproheptadine HCl (Periactin; Eiproheptadine; Periactinol; Dronactin; Peritol), the hydrochloride salt form of cyproheptadine, is a histamine receptor antagonist (antihistamine) and also an antimuscarinic agent that has been used for the treatment of postgastrectomy-dumping syndrome, pruritic dermatoses, migraine, anorexia, and pituitary-dependent Cushing's syndrome.
