Description: Clofilium tosylate, the tosylate salt of clofilium, is a novel and potent potassium/K+ channel blocker with the potential to be used as a cardiac depressant and anti-arrhythmic agent. It induces apoptosis of human promyelocytic leukemia (HL-60) cells via Bcl-2-insensitive activation of caspase-3.
