Description: CDK12-IN-2 is a highly efficient and selective nanomolar CDK12 inhibitor (IC50=52 nM) with good physical and chemical properties. CDK12-IN-2 is also a strong inhibitor of CDK13, as CDK13 is the closest homolog of CDK12. CDK12-IN-2 has higher kinase selectivity for CDK12 than CDK2, 9, 8 and 7. CDK12-IN-2 inhibits C-terminal Ser2 phosphorylation of RNA polymerase II. CDK12-IN-2 can be used as a good chemical probe for functional studies of CDK12.
