Description: C6 NBD Ceramide is a cell membrane permeable/penetrable Golgi fluorescent probe (Ex=466 nm, Em=536 nm). C6 NBD Ceramide can quickly and conveniently label the Golgi apparatus with green fluorescence in living cells and fixed cells, and may be utilized to observe changes in Golgi apparatus morphology in living cells. C6 NBD Ceramide can be metabolized into fluorescent sphingomyelin and glucosylglyceramide, which may be utilized to study sphingolipid transport and metabolic mechanisms.
