Description: Clesacostat (PF-05221304; PF05221304) is a potent, oral and selective ACC inhibitor (hACC1 IC50 = 13nM; hACC@ IC50 = 9 nM). PF-0522130 selectively inhibits liver DNL in animals, while demonstrating considerable safety margins against platelet reduction in a nonhuman primate model. PF-05221304 directly improves a variety of non-alcoholic fatty liver (NAFL) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) pathogenic factors.
