Description: Gadoxetate Disodium is a novel and potent MRI contrast agent used for liver-specific magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It is preferentially taken up by normal hepatocytes, thus normal hepatic tissue is enhanced with MRI while tumor tissue is unenhanced.
