Description: Azilsartan Medoxomil (formerly also known as TAK-491), the ester prodrug of Azilsartan (TAK-536), is a potent and orally bioavailable angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor antagonist, inhibits the RAAS, with an IC50 of 2.6 nM.
