Description: Tezacaftor (formerly VX-661; VX661; VX 661; trade name: Symdeko) is a second F508del CFTR corrector with antifibrotic effects and is also one of three components in the fixed-dose combination medication (cocktail: Elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor, Trikafta and Kaftrio) used in patients who have cystic fibrosis with a F508del mutation.
