ProtocolIn VitroNeohesperidin induces cell apoptosis in human breast adenocarcinoma MDA-MB-231 cells. The IC50 values of neohesperidin at 24 and 48 h are 47.4±2.6 μM and 32.5±1.8 μM, respectively. The expressions of P53 and Bax in the neohesperidin-treated cells are significantly up-regulated, while that of Bcl-2 is down-regulated.
In VivoNeohesperidin (50 mg/kg) significantly inhibits 55.0% of HCl/ethanol-induced gastric lesions. In pylorus ligated rats, neohesperidin (50 mg/kg) significantly decreases the volume of gastric secretion and gastric acid output, and increases the pH.
These protocols are for reference only. InvivoChem does not independently validate these methods.

Method for preparing DMSO master liquid: mg drug pre-dissolved in µL DMSO(Master liquid concentration mg/mL) ,Please contact us first if the concentration exceeds the DMSO solubility of the batch of drug.
Method for preparing in vivo formulation: Take µL DMSO master liquid, next add µL PEG300, mix and clarify, next add µL Tween 80,mix and clarify, next add µL ddH2O,mix and clarify.
Note:
  • (1) Please be sure that the solution is clear before the addition of next solvent. Dissolution methods like vortex, ultrasound or warming and heat may be used to aid dissolving.
  • (2) Be sure to add the solvent(s) in order.
