Description: Picropodophyllin (also known as Picropodophyllotoxin, AXL1717 or PPP), a naturally occuring cyclolignan alkaloid isolated from the mayapple plant family, is a novel, potent, orally bioavailable and selective small molecule inhibitor of the IGF-1R with potential antineoplastic activity.
