Description: MHY1485 (MHY-1485) is a novel, potent and cell-permeable activator of mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) and an inhibitor of autophagy that suppress the fusion between autophagosomes and lysosomes.

ProtocolIn VitroMHY1485 (10 μM; 4 hours) shows that GCDC-induced autophagic activity is inhibited by upregulating p-mTOR expression and downregulating LC3 and p62 expression in HCC cells.
In VivoMHY1485 (intraperitoneal injection; 10 mg/kg, 2 days) blocks the autophagy signaling induced by follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). It increases p-mTOR and p-S6K1 expression levels, whereas LC3 expression shows no marked change compared to that in the control group.
These protocols are for reference only. InvivoChem does not independently validate these methods.

Method for preparing DMSO master liquid: mg drug pre-dissolved in µL DMSO(Master liquid concentration mg/mL) ,Please contact us first if the concentration exceeds the DMSO solubility of the batch of drug.
Method for preparing in vivo formulation: Take µL DMSO master liquid, next add µL PEG300, mix and clarify, next add µL Tween 80,mix and clarify, next add µL ddH2O,mix and clarify.
Note:
  • (1) Please be sure that the solution is clear before the addition of next solvent. Dissolution methods like vortex, ultrasound or warming and heat may be used to aid dissolving.
  • (2) Be sure to add the solvent(s) in order.
