Description: Sapropterin dihydrochloride [formerly known as Tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4, THB, trade name: Kuvan) or sapropterin] is a synthetic preparation of the dihydrochloride salt of naturally occurring tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) that is approved for the treatment of BH4 responsive PKU.
