Description: Vesnarinone (OPC-8212) is a quinolinone-based cardiotonic agent, acting as a mixed phosphodiesterase 3 (PDE3) inhibitor and ion-channel modifier with modest, dose-dependent, positive inotropic activity, but minimal negative chronotropic activity.
