Description: Azilsartan medoxomil monopotassium (TAK-491; TAK491; Edarbi), the monopotassium salt of Azilsartan medoxomil which is a prodrug of azilsartan, is an angiotensin II receptor (AT1) type 1 antagonist approved as an anti-hypertensive medication to lower blood pressure.
