Description: Pyridostigmine Bromide (Mestinon; Regonol; Kalimin) is a parasympathomimetic and a reversible cholinesterase inhibitor used in the treatment of myasthenia gravis and to reverse the actions of muscle relaxants. Pyridostigmine Bromide hase been approved for millitary use during the Gulf War as a pretreatment to protect troops from the harmful effects of nerve agents.
